Guys, you would not believe this. Microsoft used an illegal copy of SoundForge 4.5 for editing Wave files shipped with Windows Media Player. The biggest provable mistake ever done in years, and it is installed in your computer
YOU CAN CHECK THIS YOURSELF IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE.
Open any file in the [Windows location] HelpToursWindowsMediaPlayerAudioWav folder in notepad or other editors of your choice and look at the last line. There you will find a reference to SoundForge 4.5 and also a user called 'Deepz0ne' who happens to be one of the founders of an audio software cracking group called Radium. For those who use audio warez regularly, Radium and DeepzOne names should be familiar.
Probably the guy who was doing the samples didn't imagine that the "Software Licenced to...." information was written on the buttom of the .wav files.... and nobody in Micro$oft bothered about it....What a shame guys....
